The college started its library facility immediately after its establishment, with a few no. of books and journals to cater to the needs of the faculty and the teachers. As per the records available the first book with accession no. 1 has been entered on 26th December 1952.

The College library has been visited / Inspected a no. of times by different experts / teams (NAAC, UGC, NCTE, NCERT, MHRD) etc. The NAAC team highly appreciated the role of the college library for development of student community. The team appreciated the rich stock of books that is available in the college.

All educational reports after independence (University Education commission 1948 to Knowledge Commission 2009) are available in the library . In addition to this, study material / literature of different subjects for competitive and administrative exams is available in the library.

The college has also tied up with INFLIBNET to have access to e-resources through N-List programme. The e-resources include 50,000 books and 2100 e-journals. The faculty and students are provided personal id's to have access to the e-resource.
